Reading at the Irish Arts Center, NYC

On Thursday 17 November, the Cork Literary Review Volume XIV launched at the Irish Arts Center, as part of the five city tour of the poetry anthology in the US. Director of Poetry Ireland Joseph Woods, Review Editor Eugene O’Connell and writer Jamie O’Connell read highlights from the Irish contributors, while representing the inaugural American Section (edited by Brian Turner) poet Eleanor Wilner, author The Girl with Bees in Her Hair, read samples of her award-winning work. Associate Professor Greg Londe also read samples of poet Gerard Smyth’s work as part of the evening celebrating the best of Irish literature and poetry.
